Westminster is pleased to welcome Allie Wrage as our Interim Pastoral Associate for Belonging for the coming year.
Allie is a graduate of Furman University and Duke Divinity School and recently completed a two-year pastoral residency at Myers Park Presbyterian Church in Charlotte. She brings experience in congregational ministry, a passion for connecting with people across generations, and a genuine love for the life and work of the church.
In her role at Westminster, Allie will help strengthen our ministries of Congregational Care and Life as we continue to prioritize belonging across our congregation. She will work alongside our staff and lay leaders to deepen the ways we care for one another, foster relationships, and help people find their place in the Westminster community.
Allie also brings previous experience in Children’s Ministry. During this season of transition, she will work alongside Lucy Jefferies to support key areas of Children’s and Family Ministry while continuing her broader work around belonging and congregational care.
“Allie has a passionate faith, an ability to connect with people across generations and circumstances, and a genuine love for congregational ministry,” said Senior Pastor Betsy Swetenburg. “I am excited to welcome Allie to Westminster, and I trust it won’t take long for our congregation to experience those gifts as well.”
We are grateful to Westminster’s Personnel Committee and Hiring Committee for their thoughtful work throughout the search process.
Please help us welcome Allie to Westminster!
