"For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for use to do." - Ephesians 2:10.

There are an array of opportunities for all of us to heed that message and serve our living God. We request that you prayerfully consider how you can contribute to Westminster's growing Outreach endeavors on a local, national and international level.

Monthly Bead Events help support church

pledge to Nyeri Home

You can help Westminster support orphaned Kenyan infants through our upcoming Amani bead ministry events. Westminster has made a pledge of financial support for the Nyeri New Life Home in Kenya for the next year, and sales of items made from the Amani beads will help us meet this commitment.

Please join us in the Fellowship Hall on the second Saturday of each month to help make and purchase these unique items. Beaders will meet September 11, October 9 (as part of Serving on Holy Ground), November 13 and December 4 (as part of Alternative Giving) from 9 a.m. until noon to create items. You may purchase the items you make or leave them to be sold at other times. No experience is necessary, just a desire to help these children in Kenya. Bring a friend and enjoy the fellowship.

In addition, please consider hosting an Amani Party at your home. Invite your friends over, serve a few refreshments and we’ll do the rest. Beads, supplies and instructors will be happy to help you and your guests learn how to work with the Amani beads. Create items for your own purchase or to replenish stock for Westminster’s Amani Sales.
