Westminster for all ages
Westminster relishes in the rich blessing that the church offers something for every person throughout their life. From the comfort of our nursery staff, to our Sunday School, the mission trips, Fellowship dinners, to our care for home-bound members, Westminster is a place to grow.
While there are some special activities for specific ages, most of what you find at Westminster is a group of people gathered together to celebrate the joys of community or to lend a helping hand to those beside us and those far away.
Here are some activities you may enjoy and chances to meet people outside of the church pews:
Adult Activities
J.O.Y.(Just Older Youth) Group - September - May, Fourth Tuesday of each month at noon, Friendly Avenue Campus Fellowship Hall
Fellowship Travel Trips - Periodically we'll take short or overnight trips to places of interest. Trip included to the Outer Banks, NC, and to Vidtory Junction Gang Camp. Coming up next is cruise on Smith Mountain Lake on the Virgina Dare side-wheel boat. Contact Suzanne Andia, Fellowship Director, at 299-3785, ext. 30. Cost is $40.
Men's Breakfast - September - May. First Saturday of each month at 8 a.m., Friendly Avenue Campus Fellowship Hall.
Men's Retreat - April 4-6, 2008, Etowah Valley Lodge at Hendersonville, NC.
Men's Softball team - Mid-March - June, 2008.Games are played at Lonnie Revels Field (Old Peck Park) 1101 Fairbanks Avenue, Greensboro. Click for directions. Games are:
- May 2 at 6:30 p.m.
- May 9 at 9:30 p.m.
- May 16 at 6:30 p.m.
- May 23 at 7:30 p.m.
Motorcycle Ministry - Motorcycles of all brands are invited to join us on rides. We will offer both short and long rides. Riders are welcome too. Contact Steve Fricke at (336) 561-1730 for more details of upcoming trips.
Presbyterian Young Adults - Grad students, young adults,recent graduates from around Greensboro gather monthly for fellowship and conversation. To learn more

Women's Spring Dinner - May 20, 2008, at 6 p.m. Friendly Avenue Campus Fellowship Hall. Catered by Cafe Pasta. Cost is $8, call church office to reserve your spot. Mystery Writer John Hart will be featured speaker.
W.O.W. Meals - Westminster on Wednesday Fellowship meals occur during the Fall and Winter sessions of Westminster Studies. Come and join us for a meal before your class.
