Race and Grace Field Trip: Dr. Charlotte Hawkins Brown Historic Site
Join the Race and Grace group on Thursday, April 23 for a visit to the Charlotte Hawkins Brown Museum in Sedalia. We’ll meet at the church at 11:30 a.m., with the guided tour from noon–1:15 p.m.
Cost: $2, payable at the site.
Learn about Dr. Charlotte Hawkins Brown’s legacy as a pioneering Black educator and civil rights leader, and the lasting impact of Palmer Memorial Institute on Black education in North Carolina.
