Join us on Saturday, August 29, for a guided driving tour of the Greensboro Greenway with Chelsea Phipps of Greensboro Parks and Recreation. Discover how the Greenway’s sculptures, monuments, and public art tell the story of Greensboro, with a special focus on the city’s racial history, including the Monument to Dignity and Respect and the Woolworth’s Lunch Counter tribute.
Meet at Westminster at 9:30 a.m. to ride the church van to the tour, which will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. There is no cost to attend, but registration through Realm is requested.
