Las Posadas

As Advent approaches, Westminster families are invited to participate in Las Posadas, a tradition that remembers Mary and Joseph's journey to Bethlehem in search of shelter.

Families can sign up to welcome Mary and Joseph into their home for two nights, making them part of their Advent traditions before passing them along to the next family. Each family is encouraged to take photos of their visit to help share Mary and Joseph's journey with our congregation.

The traveling box includes Mary and Joseph, a candle, a journal with instructions, and a copy of The Night of Las Posadas. This is a meaningful way for children and families to experience the Christmas story while practicing welcome and hospitality throughout Advent.
