Blessing of the Backpacks At the start of a new school year, we invite everyone—students, educators, school staff, and all workers—to bring the bags they carry to worship. Backpacks, briefcases, tool bags, diaper bags—if you use it in your daily work, bring it.

During the service, we will pray over these tools and the people who carry them, asking God’s blessing for a year filled with wisdom, growth, safety, and purpose in every place we live, learn, and work.
