2026 Mission Trip: Dominican Republic

Westminster is returning to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, to serve alongside Comunidad Connect, a long-time mission partner working to improve health, accessibility, and economic stability in vulnerable communities.

This trip is hands-on and relational. Participants will support accessibility and sanitation projects—such as building bathrooms, ramps, and walkways—while also spending time with local families and revisiting communities Westminster has partnered with in the past. The week balances meaningful work, cultural connection, and space to reflect together.

The trip is open to adults and youth age 14 and older (youth must travel with a parent or guardian). Lodging and meals are provided at a secure, reliable base in Puerto Plata, with travel and daily schedules coordinated by Comunidad Connect.
