Drug Education in the Home is part of the "Parenting at the Crossroads" series. Led by Sharon DeEsche, a licensed professional counselor who works with substance abuse and drug counseling.
This I Believe. Based on the popular NPR series of the same name, we will look at brief essays and will be encouraged to write our own. Led by Butch Sherrill.
Godliness, Faithfulness & Focus. A Bible study of 1st & 2nd Timothy and Titus. Led by Bill Waterstradt.

Teacher/Shepherd Rejuvenation Gathering is Sunday, January 29 from 12:15- 2 pm in the Friendly Avenue Fellowship Hall. A light lunch will be followed by a time for sharing and a visio divina (praying with images). Contact Lynn Turnage in the church office to indicate your attendance.
Support Group for Care Givers of Seniors forming, If you are the primary person responsible for a family member, loved one, or neighbor, you can connect with others to receive and provide information, education, encouragement, and support to others in the congregation. An initial information session will be Tuesday, January 31, at 7 pm. Contact Emily Black in the church office.
Adopt-A-Spot. Select from various landscaping areas around Friendly Avneue campus to "adopt" and keep weeded and tidy. Read more >>
Blood Drive on February 13. Make an appointment to donate blood at the Friendly Avenue campus on Monday, February 13, from 1:30-6:30 pm. Schedule your appointment. All blood types are needed. All donors to receive a soup bowl and spoon. Donors from 2-4 pm also to receive a T-Shirt.
Online pledging available. If you are unable to be at church you can give your estimated pledge amount online. Pledging helps committee and staff budget and plan for events and upgrading equipment.
Online Time & Talent. You can indicate were you would like to volunteer at the church. Read the descriptions in the 2012 Find Your Place to Serve booklet.
