WPC Education Engagement Opportunities – Aug 27 Interest Meetings
Are you interested in working with children in need and making a significant impact on their lives? Plan to attend an interest meeting (or a few – it will be like speed dating!) on August 27 at 12:05 pm in the upstairs education classrooms of the Friendly Ave. campus. Begin at the interest meeting of your choice, learn about it for 10 – 15 minutes, and then switch to the next Education Engagement Opportunity when the bell rings. The following opportunities will be represented: BackPack Beginnings food delivery to Sternberger Elementary, Eastside Park Homework Helpers, Foust Elementary Classroom Volunteers, Grimsley High School “Success 101” Mentoring, Morehead Elementary Lunch Buddies and Morehead Elementary ESL Reading Buddies. Please contact Ann Comfort in the church office for more information.
Music is a vital and meaningful part of Westminster’s worship life. Our contemporary and traditional music programs focus on enhancing the worship experience for all, and we encourage everyone to participate.
We offer a wide variety of classes for people of all ages, including those in our popular fitness ministry. Small groups provide common ground for study, prayer and outreach opportunities. Get support if you need it or provide support to others in our church family. Explore all we offer and get connected today!
Middle school students learn, grow and have fun together through a wide variety of activities. High school students participate in activities tailored to their needs and that encourage spiritual exploration and growth, leadership development, service and more.
God calls us to offer care and support to everyone—especially those who are in emotional, physical or spiritual pain. Members of our church family are here to listen, provide comfort and help. See how you can receive care or provide care.
Take one or more classes to enhance your physical and spiritual well-being.
We are blessed to be a blessing. We respond by striving to share and receive God’s love through serving others. Our service takes many forms, starting at home and currently extending to places as far away as Kenya. There’s a way for everyone to participate in our outreach programs. What moves you?
In addition to your prayers, there are other ways you can support our outreach efforts. We raise money for outreach throughout the year—from the mission auction every spring to the ongoing Amani Bead ministry.
