On behalf of our large Greensboro church family, welcome! We recognize it can be daunting to find a new church community. No matter what your faith background, we welcome you. We hope the information on this page will help you navigate our offerings during this season.
Worship
9AM SERVICE | SANCTUARY and Livestream
Our 9am worship service blends contemporary music (piano, acoustic guitars, bass, percussion and vocalists) with a message. Music is drawn from a variety of sources including traditional hymns, contemporary christian, rock, folk and bluegrass. A pastor and our Worship Band lead each service. This service lasts about 50 minutes, and we provide a bulletin to help guide you through the service.
11AM SERVICE | SANCTUARY and Livestream
Worship at 11am is led by a pastor, our Schantz organ, and a rich array of musical offerings by Westminster's Chancel Choir, Handbell Choir, and a variety of guest instrumentalists. This services lasts approximately 50
minutes, and we provide a bulletin to help guide you through the service.
children
We encourage children to join us for worship each Sunday morning, either online or in person. Our services include “Sharing God’s Story with Our Children" specifically geared to engage our littles. If you prefer, nursery care is available for children age three and younger in Room 113 on the Lower Level.
dress code
What dress code? You will see everything from shorts and flip-flops to suits and ties. The most important thing to us is your presence, not your presentation.
LOGISTICS
Handicap and special needs parking is available in front of our Sanctuary in the loop accessible from Friendly Avenue. Our main parking lot entrance is off Westminster Drive. To find the Sanctuary from the main parking lot, enter through the double doors under the awning. You’ll immediately see stairs that lead to our upper level. Proceed up the stairs and make a sharp left to find the breezeway leading to our Sanctuary. Greeters will always be present to help guide you.
Faith Formation
Children
Preschool through 5th grade children gather at 10am for our faith formation hour. Learn more about our children’s ministry here.
Youth
We have a vibrant youth ministry that continues to meet creatively during COVID-19. New youth are always welcome. Learn more about our youth ministry here.
Sunday Mornings
