Creating a Sacred Space for Scary Conversations | February 10, 17, 24
Many of us have sensed that we are living through particularly polarizing times. We long to have conversations with one another about the issues that divide us. This takes a great deal of courage, patience, and love. We hope you’ll consider joining this three-week class, where you will be invited into a sacred space for listening, learning and conversation. We will explore Scripture, our values, and the ways these inform our political perspectives. We will do our best to bring together “conservative” voices and “liberal” voices and everything in between. As hard and uncomfortable as it might be, these conversations are important. And if we can’t have them at church, where else can we have them?
