Westminster National Cancer Survivors Day Celebration

National Cancer Survivors Day is a celebration for those who have survived, an inspiration for those recently diagnosed, a gathering of support for families, and an outreach to the community.

This year, join Westminster for a special panel of speakers on May 30, at 7 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Panelists will bring unique perspectives about experiencing the cancer journey as a family member, child, or friend.

Panelists include:

Rev. Charlie Zimmerman, retired senior pastor from 1st Lutheran Church in Greensboro and spouse of a cancer survivor

Anne Cunningham, a Cone Health Cancer Center Clinical Social Worker with more than 30 years of experience

Melissa Carter, long-time Westminster member and spouse of a cancer survivor
