Church Looks Different: Millennial Models of Faith and Justice

Church Looks Different: Millennial Models of Faith and Justice" will be presented by Union's Melanie Jones, Instructor of Ethics, Theology, and Culture and Director of the Katie Geneva Cannon Center for Womanist Leadership.

Perhaps you have heard the popular refrain "millennials are leaving the Church," which is often used to establish the disinterest of millennials and younger generations in faith and religion. This lecture asks a prophetic question, "Why are churches failing millennials?" Moreover, what do millennials embody that enliven and reimagine the gospel of Jesus Christ in word and deed? Join us for a public lecture exploring millennial models of faith and justice that reshape ecclesiology in a contemporary world.

This free lecture will be held in the Fellowship Hall. Childcare by request only before Nov. 11. Please email
