Pastor's Passions: The 7 Toughest Questions
Facilitated by Ernie Thompson

This class will be a series where we get to hear and explore what is on the hearts and minds of our pastors. We will start with our head of staff, Ernie Thompson, who will lead us through seven of the toughest questions: 1. If Christianity is true are other religions false? 2. Does science undermine faith? 3. Can the Bible really be trusted? 4. Does being a Christian mean giving up our freedom? 5. How can a good God allow suffering? 6. How can a loving God send anyone to Hell? 7. Are religion and the church the source of more bad than good in the world?

Dirt, Cairns, & Your Garden
Facilitated by Dale Mitchell

By arranging stones and other “found” natural items, we will explore techniques for enhancing our gardens. We will learn the art and theology of building Cairns and other temporary creations, setting stones to create a labyrinth or a mandala and may work on a project or two for the church. Come comfortable and, if you have them, bring gardening gloves and knee pads.

WOW Moments of Life
Facilitated by Lucy Wellmaker

Lucy will use her recently published book, WOW Moments of Life to facilitate sessions that include personal reflection and group discussion to inspire individuals to create their own action plan in the following areas: Being Present, Letting Go, Self-Care, and Staying Positive.
