UKirk Ministries of Greensboro
What is UKirk Ministries of Greensboro? Formerly known as Presbyterian Campus Ministries Greensboro, this vital organization focuses on:
- reaching out to young adults on campus and across the city;
- supporting them in their spiritual journey as followers of Jesus Christ
- connecting them to churches where they can grow and serve in a loving, multi-generational community of faith.
UKirk – named after the Scottish word for church, “kirk,” - is a network of collegiate ministries supported by the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and is charged with reaching, loving, and teaching college students so that they may be lifelong followers of Jesus Christ.
Westminster members are encouraged to get to know UKirk students and young adults by attending their Tuesday Fellowship Dinners at 6 pm and Tuesday Worship Services at 7 pm at Holderness Presbyterian House near the campuses of UNCG and Greensboro College. Westminster volunteers can serve UKirk Greensboro by cooking and serving dinner on Tuesdays during the school year. Several Westminster college students are actively involved with UKirk Greensboro. For more information, please go to ukirkgso.org or contact Kate Davelaar Gutherie firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in providing dinner.
