Local Outreach
There are many ways to help the Triad area through our local outreach ministry. If you would like to know more about the different projects click on the links to your right or contact Diane Campbell, Director of Local Outreach at the church office 299-3785 ext. 114 or e-mail her at .
Supporting the efforts of Westminster's Strategic Plan, Objective No. 3. " Improve People's Lives Throughout Our Community and Our World," many of our local outreach programs focus on improving the lives of the disenfranchised and the poor through an intentional focus on issues of housing and homelessness in the Greensboro area.
During the summer months, Weaver House, Pathways, and our host week for Interfaith Hospitality Network address this objective, as well as, the ongoing participation in the Housing First and Beyond Pathways efforts.

Macaroni & Cheese collection

Greensboro Urban Ministry asks local churches to pledge a food item to collect throughout the year to help stock the food pantry; Westminster has pledged to collect macaroni and cheese. There is a white cabinet in the Fellowship Hall at Friendly and a collection box at Lake Brandt for donations. Next time you go grocery shopping, put an extra box of macaroni and cheese in your grocery cart and deposit when you worship.
