Adopt-A-Spot

Being good stewards of the church's resources

The Building and Grounds Committee has divided the Friendly Avenue campus church property into these 20 smaller areas in order to minimize the work required to maintain any one area. The goal of our committee is be good stewards of the church’s resources while maintaining the best look possible. Following Moses’ example we are delegating by utilizing our most valuable resource: our people.

What's involved when you Adopt-A-Spot?

We are asking for assistance in maintaining the area by trimming and/or weeding at the various locations. This work can be performed on your own time schedule and we plan to start this spring. You are welcome to sign up individually or with friends and/or family members. Pictures and descriptions of each landscaping area are below.

How to Adopt-A-Spot

If you would like to participate, please let Kenny Carper know either by phone (336) 643-4832, or by email address kcbuilder@bellsouth.net or you can contact Mark Frazier in the church office, which area you would want to adopt. Select more than one area in case your 1st choice is already taken. Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.
