Westminster Presbyterian Church
Westminster Youth spent the night in cardboard shelters with a chilly 39 degrees on to raise awareness those who go hungry every day.

Serve> Youth> 30 Hour Famine

For the fourth year, the youth of Westminster will participate in the 30 Hour Famine, March 25 & 26.

In years' past, the youth have engaged in a 30 Day Famine Challenge with daily devotions focusing on hunger in our community and world and special Sunday School classes. In 2010, the youth collected 3,212 pounds of food for the Greensboro Urban Ministry food pantry, surpassing 2009's collection of 2,403 pounds and $2,483 was collected for hunger causes.

Click here for this year’s 30 Day Famine Challenge Devotional Guide that can be used by our youth and their families to educate them to the needs of the hungry and impoverished in the world.

Get involved.

The Youth don't just study the needs of the world. They don't just talk-the-talk, they are a hands-on, mission-oriented group.
