As Westminster moves into the second year of our Children in Poverty initiative, new opportunities are emerging as ways the church can make a difference.  One new opportunity is at Foust Elementary, one of the highest poverty schools in North Carolina.

14 drivers are needed each Saturday in April and May (except Easter weekend) at 3:00 p.m. to take youth players home after games at the Spears YMCA. Only about 25% of Newcomers school families have transportation and approximately 50 to 60 players are participating this spring.
