Youth Ministry

Westminster Youth Ministry invites all youth from all walks of life to come experience the love and grace of God in community with one another. Our program is designed for 6th-12th graders as they continue to be spiritually nurtured and challenged during this crucial developmental stage in their life. We have a team of leaders who are dedicated to walking beside youth and their families as we seek to live out being the community of God with one another through Bible Study, Worship, Fellowship, and Mission. We hope that all youth will truly feel welcome to come and be a part of all that is happening in the life of Westminster Youth Ministry!!

Timothy Leaders - Westminster has started an intentional training for11th & 12th grade youth to be better prepared to serve as leaders with our middle school youth, Confirmation, and our Agape Project.  We look forward to the leadership that our own youth will bring to our programs.

The Agape Project connects our high school youth with Partnership Village, a transitional housing community for formerly homeless individuals and families.  Westminster Youth and their leaders are being called out in faith to serve and work with this community by providing dinner, fellowship, and recreation for the children at Partnership Village twice a month during our regular high school fellowship time.

Youth Experience Poverty During 30-hour Famine

Westminster Youth participated in the 5th annual 30-hour Famine on March 25-26, 2011. Sixty-one youth, ranging from 6th-12th grade went without food for 30 hours, did service projects, and slept in cardboard boxes. The youth broke the fast, with a meal of soup and bread, after attending the 6 pm worship  service. Read full story in WestminsterLife March edition
