Middle School Education

On Sunday mornings we meet to learn and grow in our faith. Our classes are taught by adults who care about young people and are committed to using creative ways for our youth to mature in their faith.

There is a fellowship time at the Youth House, across from the Friendly Avenue campus, on Sunday mornings between 10:30 and 11:00 am. Come by to get something to eat, see friends, and relax at the house.

We offer a Middle School class at 11 a.m. at the Friendly Avenue campus on Sunday mornings. 6th & 7th grade girls and 6th & 7th grade boys meet at the Youth House, while our 8th graders are encouraged to participate in the year-long Confirmation Class.   Our teachers serve on a rotating basis to provide a unique and exciting approach to their curriculum. They use current events and other contemporary sources to explore the fundamentals of our faith and scripture.

Middle School Sunday Morning Schedule

9:30 am, 2nd & 4th Sundays, meet with all youth at Lake Brandt
10:30-11am - Fellowship time @ Friendly Avenue campus
11 am - Middle School Sunday School classes @ Friendly Avenue campus

Confirmation Class for 8th Graders

We invite all 8th graders -- members and non-members alike -- to start on a personal faith journey through Westminster's Confirmation Class. Confirmation is a good forum for young people to learn what is unique about being Presbyterian and how Christianity is similar to and different from other religions.
