Children enjoy the chance to move around during the Children's Worship service on Saturday nights. On Sunday mornings at 11 am Children's Church is held in Room 106 of the Friendly Avenue campus.

Church School curriculum

We are delighted to have 4 church school hours available for the children. For infants and toddlers we have a nursery available.

Lake Brandt Campus

Sundays @ 9:30 a.m. Children age Kindergarten through 5th grade are invited to attend a portion of worship with their families. Following the Children's Message during the service, the children will leave the Santuary and be lead to their appropriate-age classrooms. Nursery and preschool care provided during the entire service.

Friendly Avenue Campus

Saturday @ 6 p.m. Nursery and preschool care provided during entire worship service. Following Children's Message, those ages Kingergarten - 5th grade are lead to the Chapel for the Children's Worship Service. Children may be picked up in the Fellowship Hall following worship.

Sunday @ 9:30 a.m. school
2, 3, 4-year-olds meet in rooms on the 1st floor of Friendly Avenue Campus. There are 2 classes for each age group. They are divided into younger and older. Music is provided by Paige Ganem.

Kindergarten-5th grade meet in classrooms on the 1st and 2nd floors. Please consult the frames outside the Children's library (Room 109). Music is provided by Jimmy Jones. (1 hour class time)

Sunday @ 11 a.m.
Nursery and preschool care provided during entire worship service. Children ages Kingergarten - 5th grade go to Room 106 for Children's Worship Service.

Curriculum

Children from nursery through 5th grade will be using the FaithWeaver Bible Curriculum. All ages will study the same Bible passages, but with age-appropriate lessons. The children will experience God’s Word in fresh, fun ways and discover how to apply what they learn to their everyday life.

Children's Worship

Have your child experience worship while engaging them in a children-centric service. In addition to children's church school, Westminster offers two Children's Worship services: Saturday night and Sunday at 11 a.m. at the Friendly Avenue campus. Children sing songs, have a Bible lesson that may include movie clips to illustrate the Biblical message. Preschoolers and nursery-aged children remain in the Children's wing in their classes to learn their Bible lesson. Saturday's Children's Worship is held in the Chapel. Sunday's Children's Worship is held in Room 106 of the Friendly Avenue campus.
