Our current economic times have caused many in our community to enter or re-enter the job market. We want to help. Out of Westminster’s sense of community, Christian caring and hospitality, we are embarking on a new initiative to assist those seeking employment, WestPres JobConnect. If you are seeking employment and would like to be included in our online database, please submit your resume. Equally as important, should you have a job to offer, or know of an available employment opportunity in the area, please share those details.

WestPres JobConnect Group Weekly Meeting

West Pres Job Connect will start 2012 with a new format. Beginning with the first meeting of the new year 01/09/2012 the weekly meetings will be focused on helping those that are just starting or trying to restart their job search. We will still meet on Monday nights from 7:00 to 8:00 pm in the conference room at Westminster and focus on how to start or jump start the job search. We will also take a look at the resources available in the church and the community to help. Then the big change will occur once a month when WestPres Job Connect and Saint Paul’s Reemployment join forces to offer a an in-depth look on a different topic dealing with the job search and unemployment. Watch the bulletin for the schedule of topics and the time and location. The group is open to the community-at-large. Contact Rev.
