Service for Wholeness & Healing

Services for Wholeness and Healing are held in the Chapel on designated Sunday evenings at 7 p.m. The service is held the second Sunday of the following months: February, April, August, and October. There will be no service in June 2010 due to the church-wide picnic. The next Wholeness & Healing service will be Sunday, August 8, at 7 pm in the Friendly Avenue Chapel.

In these quiet times of worship, there is an opportunity for us to pray for others as well as to receive prayer from the Elders and Pastors for our particular needs for wholeness and healing in body, mind, or spirit. Meditative songs are led by a group of Westminster musicians. In offering this time of worship, we continue not only the teaching and preaching ministry of Jesus but also his healing ministry. This service includes a time for the blessing of the Healing Prayer Shawls. All are welcome.

Blue Christmas Service

The Sunday following Thanksgiving, Westminster offers a Blue Christmas service for those who aren't feeling festive. All are invited to come and lean in to God's love and lean on a faith community for care and support on Sunday, November 29, 2009, at 7 pm in the Friendly Avenue Campus chapel. Read more>>

Hurting Hearts Service

Hurting Hearts Service for Wholeness & Healing, for those whose hearts are hurting due to grief, job loss, health issues, or a relationship. Beautiful music, prayer and a place to let God begin to transform your heart. All are welcome on Sunday, February 14, 2009, at 7 pm in the Friendly Avenue Campus chapel.
