Ways to give

1) REGULAR CHURCH OFFERING
You may write a check or place cash inside an offering envelope found in the pew racks and put in the offering each week. We offer the option to choose whether or not you would like to have a box of offering envelopes. Due to the expense of the envelopes, we will provide envelopes only to those who request them. They are available in the church office throughout the year. Just stop by and pick one up or call Aimee Bostic at 299-3785 ext. 110.

2) MAIL OR DELIVER YOUR CHECK TO THE CHURCH

You may mail or deliver your contribution directly to the church office at:

3) ONLINE BILL PAYMENT SERVICE

Contact your bill payment service to include Westminster Presbyterian Church in your regular weekly and/or monthly payments. Checks can be sent directly to Westminster as addressed above.

4) GIFTS OF STOCKS, BONDS, AND MUTUAL FUNDS
Please contact Jan Swanton, Finance Manager at the church office, 299-3785, ext 127 or jan.swanton@westpreschurch.org on how to easily transfer stocks and mutual finds from your account to the church’s account.

5) GIFTS OF APPRECIATED REAL ESTATE
Before you sell real estate, consider the options of donating the property outright or placing the real estate in a trust so you can retain the use of the property for life. There are significant capital gains tax savings as well as a charitable deduction for the full fair market value of the property if held longer than twelve months.

6) GIFTS OF INSURANCE
You can donate an existing insurance policy or name Westminster as a beneficiary to a new or existing insurance policy.

7) WILLS, BEQUESTS, AND ESTATE PLANNING
A charitable gift may be given to the church through your will or other estate plans.

Westminster cannot give legal or tax advice, for that you should contact your own advisor. However, members of the Stewardship/ Administration & Finance Committee and Endowment Committees who are knowledgeable about giving options are available to discuss with you any questions you may have.
